Blackboard is Emory’s web-based Learning Management System. An integrated suite of tools, Blackboard allows faculty to build sophisticated web-based learning environments without a lot of time, resources or technical expertise. It can be used both as a supplement to lecture-based courses or for fully online courses. By default, every official course offered in OPUS has a course shell in Emory’s Blackboard system with automated enrollment updates.
Blackboard is used by many Emory groups and departments for document collaboration and sharing.
