ACUTA, the Association for Information Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education, is an international non-profit educational association serving colleges and universities. Topics to be covered at the ACUTA conference include Unified Communications/VoIP, Mobility and Wireless Issues, Network and IT Security, Emergency Communications, and Network Infrastructure.
Five miles away from downtown Atlanta is Emory University. Founded in 1836 by the Methodist Episcopal Church in the small town of Oxford, Georgia, Emory moved to its current Atlanta location in 1915. Today, with an enrollment of more than 12,750, Emory is home to an undergraduate college and top tier medical, law, and business schools. Neighbors of Emory University include Emory Hospital, the Emory Clinic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the VA Medical Center. Emory University is an inquiry-driven, ethically engaged and diverse community. Emory's members work collaboratively for positive transformation in the world through courageous leadership in teaching, research, scholarship, healthcare, and social action. We hope you will stop by our host table during the conference. We will be there to assist with any questions you may have and provide information and literature about Emory University, Atlanta, and the surrounding area.
