Insight®, a software system developed by Luna Imaging, is a digital media storage, management, and delivery system designed for research and teaching. Insight makes it easy and exciting to work with digital image files and also supports audio, video, and virtual reality.

Insight at Emory currently hosts the digital images collection of the Art History Visual Resources Library, and also provides access to over 200,000 digital images in more than a dozen digital image collections at other institutions. With Personal Insight, it is possible to store, catalog, and access personal collections of digital images.

Contents of all Insight collections are made available for educational use only.

The Insight client software offers the following tools:
- search across multiple collections simultaneously & save search results in a group
- interact with digital media files (zoom, pan, overlay catalogue information)
- build interactive multimedia presentations & annotate media files
- link media files to resources on the web
- export media files or presentations easily to Blackboard or Powerpoint
- build personal collections of digital media
