What is webcasting you ask?...it is streaming audio and video live over the Internet so people can watch an Emory affiliated event in real time.

Webcasting has been used to broadcast Emory's Commencement Ceremonies to provide student's family and friends who are unable to attend a way to view the ceremony off campus. Other events have included guest lecturers for the "Future Maker Lecture Series" hosted by the School of Medicine, the Emory Employee Town Hall meeting, and several Emory conference sessions for non-attendees.

Webcasting is a specialized service that requires pre-planning, technical coordination, advertising, and resources to provide an effective and successful event.
