Office of Information Technology

Dr. Richard (Rich) Mendola, became Emory's first vice president for information technology and chief information officer on September 1, 2005. In this role, Dr. Mendola provides leadership and direction for information technology services across Emory University and Emory Healthcare. Dr. Mendola's enterprise IT groups include: Emory Healthcare Information Services (EHc-IS), IT Finance & Administration, Research & Health Sciences IT (R&HS), and University Technology Services (UTS).

Mission Statement:
As a key enabling function at Emory, the mission of the OIT is to create and sustain a seamless, agile, innovative and efficient information technology environment that advances the educational, clinical and research activities and aspirations of Emory University and the Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
