SchedulingHow do I schedule a videoconference with ECIT? How do I schedule a multi-site video conference on the MCU? If you are interested in scheduling a consultation for videoconferencing equipment or network connectivity requirements, please call University Technology Services at 404-727-5233 or 404-727-7656. To schedule a videoconference at the Jane Fonda Center call 404-712-8730. Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT)ECIT hosts two videoconference spaces located in Woodruff Memorial Library on Emory's main campus. Both spaces are available on a first come first serve basis. ECIT 217: The distance learning facility in ECIT can connect with other sites via ISDN (phone lines)and via the Internet. This combination video conference and presentation room is equipped with computer access, internet access, VHS, DVD/CD, document camera, Emory TV, Smartboard, and state of the art surround sound.This room accomodates up to 25 people maximum. ECIT A/V Suite: This space is for 1 to 2 persons with Internet videoconferencing capability. It is possible to connect a laptop to the video conference codec with prior notice.
Jane Fonda CenterThe Jane Fonda Center hosts a larger videoconference room in Building A on Emory's West campus on Briarcliff Road, and a smaller conference/meeting room. Meeting/Training Room: Can accomodate up to 40 people for training, video conferencing, and satellite broadcasting, with two large rear screen projectors and two LCD televisions. The video/satellite conferencing system offers lavaliere and ceiling microphones, PC access, and document camera. The podium has a smart screen system which enables you to annotate your presentations. Full internet access is also available, along with DVD, CD, or VCR players. Meeting/Conference Room: Offers a large conference table and comfortable seating for 16. There is a white board and a small buffet counter available for your convenience.
