HPC Cluster User Accounts

Access to the ELLIPSE cluster is granted to Emory-affiliated P.I.s by application via one of two access points:  The Biomolecular Computing Resource (BimCore) at Emory University School of Medicine, and The Cherry L. Emerson Center for Scientific Computation. Each organization has a staff member designated to approve applications for use of the cluster. Individuals requesting cluster accounts should contact one of these service centers for consultation on cluster usage and access, as well as to determine whether the access to the cluster would be appropriate for the end-user's needs.

Accounts for researchers working with an existing cluster project or with a P.I. who is currently using the cluster may request an account through their P.I.

Cluster access is billed through the University's FAS accounting system and is based on a CPU-usage-per-hour charge.
