Fall 2020 Updates

All students, faculty, and staff visiting our spaces must first be cleared to return to campus in compliance with the Return To Campus Guidelines. Please verify your status in the React Dashboard before planning your visit. Groups in need of meeting space are encouraged to use Zoom for web conferencing instead. 

 

 

Public Computing Spaces

Computing Center at Cox Hall - relaxed study space with reservable classrooms, gaming consoles, and student art

Learning Commons at Woodruff Library - largest study space on campus with reservable group studies

 

Specialized Labs

TechLab - makerspace in Cox with 3D printers & scanners, VR headsets, CNC machine, button makers, hand tools & more

MediaLab - audio & video post-production lab with Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, Wacom tablets, microphones & more

 

Specialized Equipment Spaces

Presentation Practice & Web Conferencing - space in Woodruff Library (Room 213) with video cameras, mics, and monitors. 

Student Production Studio - audio, photo, and video production space with high-end cameras, mics, lights, and green screen

One Button Studio -  make video recordings at the touch of a button with lights and camera pre-set for optimal production

Music and Audio Recording Studio - audio production space for podcasting, voice-overs, vocal, and musical instruments recording and mixing

 

Graduate Student Labs

Bowden Grad Lab - dedicated space for History and Philosophy graduate students

Tarbutton Grad Lab - dedicated space for Political Science and Sociology graduate students
