University Technology Services (UTS) is responsible for maintaining and coordinating Emory's centralized computing services and supporting academic and administrative departments in the effective and efficient use of these technologies.
UTS promotes Emory's innovative approaches to teaching and learning by providing robust information technology services. UTS provides enterprise services to Emory University and Emory Healthcare, including administrative applications (PeopleSoft), email and calendaring (Exchange), and support services with a 24-hour Service Desk. UTS also provides telephone, wireless and wired networking, paging, cable television, and radio and video services to the Emory enterprise.
Additionally, UTS provides many academically focused technology resources and applications (BlackBoard) and support for over 100 technology-enriched classrooms. Emory's award-winning Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT) is just one of several of UTS' computing centers and labs. Students and faculty work collaboratively in the Computing Center at Cox Hall.
