The Network Account service, or Emory Network ID (ENID) as it is informally known, creates the official network logon and ID for all employees, students, faculty, and staff upon arrival at Emory. This ID, referred to as a Network ID (NetID), is used to access applications and services used throughout the University. ENID allows customers to reset their password, select an email name or alias to be used in lieu of the officially assigned NetID, and the ability to define anti-spam settings. Additionally the service provides management tools for the Information Technology staff to perform account management functions. ENID also includes a ‘back-office' function that performs the creation and update of University LDAP and Active Directory accounts.
Login to ENID to access your account.
Authorized faculty, staff, and students are assigned individual network user accounts. Each user or customer account is issued a unique NetID and default password that permits access to computing services like email. Once the network account is created, the user must change the default password to a secure, personally created password. Every user is responsible for ensuring that the network activity associated with their NetID is in accordance with Emory's Information Technology (IT) guidelines, policies, standards and practices.
