Design and Build

The ECM team will work through the steps outlined below with your appointed subject matter experts.  The duration of this process depends on the complexity of the business process and available resources.

  1. Gather requirements (complete Readiness Audit)
  2. Refine requirements – discuss goals with ECM team, define scope, establish goals and priorities.
  3. Design – Plan and document methods and processes
  4. Build – Configuration and coding
  5. Test – Technical and functional walk throughsolution, assess success
  6. Fix – Address issues found during initial testing
  7. Re-Test – Re test to verify fixes were effective
  8. Train the Trainer – Teach Department Power Users to use solution effectively and teach others
  9. Deploy – Roll out to users
  10. Maintain - Modify solution as business requirements evolve
