What We Do:

The OIT Business and Administration division provides financial management, human resources support, contract management, and administrative services for all divisions of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) such as Enterprise Applications, Services, & Infrastructure, University IT Services and Research Solutions, the Chief Information Security Officer, the Chief Information Architect, and the Office of the Vice President and CIO. The division encompasses the areas of financial planning and budgeting, human resources, new-employee onboarding, benefits help, facilities management, facility-related security and other operational duties.

Provide direct administrative support to OIT management staff. Coordinating and executing the multitude of administrative activities that occur to keep OIT technical units running smoothly. Duties include activities such as coordinating purchasing activities, scheduling meetings, interviews and other gatherings, arranging travel and reimbursements and other general office management activities.

Provides overall support to OIT Divisions in such areas as purchasing/procurement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel reimbursements and other non-travel reimbursements. Acts as primary interface between University Departments (Purchasing, Accounting, Travel, etc.) and OIT Divisions.

Administrative Support is a service-oriented team, providing centralized administrative support, facilities management and payroll. OIT staff assistants facilitate employee travel arrangements and reimbursements, space allocation, catered events and meetings, Notary services, office supply orders, A/V support for conference rooms and much more.
