Application: Echo360

Echo360

Echo360 is a classroom and personal lecture capture and video delivery system, with user-friendly tools for capturing, transcoding, publishing, and viewing recordings of class sessions. Echo360 simplifies making media-rich content easier as instructors can use it in their classroom, office or home. The Echo360 system allows students to reach content online 24/7.

Echo360's new cloud-based platform is known as it's Active Learning Platform, or ALP.  In addition to standard capturing of course and lecture videos, ALP offers additional engagement features to enhance the active learning process.  These features include:

  • Advanced analytics to help instructors determine the best methods to present their content
  • Instructor-designed engagement score to help determine at-risk students
  • Student and Instructor Discussion Forums and Q&A from within the Echo platform
  • Interactivity slides such as polling, to gauge the understanding of course material in real-time.

For additional information on Echo360 ALP features, please see the information to your right and/or contact your local IT support team to setup your course.
