3rd Party apps for phone calls: Students can use third party apps (such as Zoom, Google Hangout or WhatsApp) to make a computer or internet call directly if they don’t have access to a phone enabled to make international calls.
Students who cannot make an international call from any of the options listed above can now email the Service Desk Monday through Friday, from 7am to 6pm (excluding weekends and holidays) to have a Zoom meeting setup to assist with any account issues. That email address is help@emory.edu. For all requests placed after-hours, weekends or holidays, your email will receive a response the next business day. Please make sure to provide your name, netid, and your non-Emory email address where you would like the Zoom invite to be sent.
Current Student
As a current student, your password is managed in our central IT system that allows you to use the same ID/password across multiple Emory University systems, such as OPUS. Please contact the University Service Desk at 7-7777 (404-727-7777) so they can reset your password. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.
Applicant/New Student
As an applicant to any of the schools at Emory University your initial password is generated for you. Please use the following link: Obtain Network ID and Password
Please enter your Date of Birth, Social Security Number and Application Email address. Please Note: If we have a Social Security Number on file at Emory, you must use this number to retrieve your Network ID and password. If you are getting an error, verify your information is entered correctly on your application. Please contact the Admission Office if this information needs to be updated.
University employees
As an employee of Emory your password in managed in our central ID system that allows you to use the same ID/password across multiple Emory University systems, such as OPUS. Please contact the University Service desk at 7-7777 (404-727-7777) so they can reset your password. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive. Support technicians are available Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm.
Alumni / Former Students
After September 15, 2022, if you are a former student and need to request a transcript, click here. You will be redirected to our transcript vendor Parchment to create a profile on Parchment before placing your transcript order. The profile setup is a one-time process.

For other OPUS access, email opushelp@emory.edu to have your OPUS ID password reset. Please provide your full legal name at the time of your enrollment at Emory, as well as other identifying information so we can properly identify your record. If you recall your Net ID and/or Student ID that will also be helpful.

- We recommend that you use the Password Reset Tool to change your password to prevent unauthorized access of your account!
Forgot your logon ID and password?
Ask your Access Coordinator for your logon ID and you can then use the Password Reset Tool to change your password.
