Microsoft 365 Software
Emory's Microsoft 365 license allows all Emory Employees (Faculty, Staff, Students and Healthcare) to install 5 copies on your personal computers and mobile devices at no additional cost. Refer to the Knowledge Base article for instructions. Below are additional add-on subscriptions to enhance the user experience for faculty and staff.
Microsoft Products for an Enhanced User Experience
Emory's Microsoft 365 license includes five (5) add-on subscription products that are available to faculty, staff and researchers for a nominal monthly fee. Users have access to Cloud-enhanced software that is technically superior to traditional standalone Microsoft products.
These software programs can only be used with Microsoft Office Pro -- installed from Microsoft 365 -- and are not compatible with Microsoft Volume License installations. Contact your department's local support team for help with selecting the version that's right for you:
- Teams Audio Conferencing - By default, Microsoft Teams will allow you host meetings and connect using computer or mobile clients. To add dial-in bridge conferencing, you will need to add a license for the added functionality. This not only lets you host a meeting with dial-in, but can also dial-out to add users.
- Microsoft Visio Pro - a multipurpose program for creating flowcharts, decision diagrams, playbooks and network schematics.
- Microsoft Project Online Plan 3 - a project management tool for scheduling, task management, budget oversight and tracking the progress of work.
- Microsoft Online Project Plan 5 - includes all of MS Project Pro's functionality with additional tools for enterprise resources oversight, along with demand management capability and out-of-box portfolio reporting.
- Microsoft Power Bl Pro - a suite of business analytic tools enabling users to quickly and efficiently analyze and visualize data with easy-to-use dashboards. The license is required to share or view shared dashboards, reports, and apps per user.
